Imre Kálmán (1882-1953) the immortal composer of the operetts Csárdáskirálynő, Marica grófnő, Cigányprímás ,  Bajadér, Cirkuszhercegnő,   Arizona Lady, was born in Siofok , his birthplace can still be seen in the walk named after him. There is an art gallery on the first floor of the museum. In temporary exhibitions the works of the great and contemporary masters are on display.
